Kitchen Redo…With Limitations

Our kitchen was GREEN!! Green countertops, green backsplash, green walls, sooo much green. Our budget to redo the kitchen was $4,500-5,000 sounds like a lot to me but the counters were $4,000 of that. We spend another $200 on the backsplash. We used small subway tile on mesh from Home Depot at the time it was $2 a square foot and chosen because of the price. Our kitchen is a good size and while I didn’t like the cancer door shape , I did like the white. So we hired a local contractor that did concrete countertops in custom finish. I got my bridge faucet from eBay for $75 and 7 years later I still love it. The walls are glidden pure white eggshell (not tinited) again we have the beige-ish ceilings in the whole house. We made the wood island top ourselves. It hasn’t stood the test of time and we are revisiting options for what we want to try next. This redo has held up really well the entirety of us living here. Let me know what you think!
